cleaning the in-box ... again

i should really pay more attention to my e-mail as messages come in. but i don't. tonight we party shuffle all the music in itunes. we're starting with "lean on me" by dc talk.

this week's top 20 from travel zoo includes 6 nights plus airfare to paris for $600. i really need to get my passport.

i do plan to smell like fire again this coming sunday night. so if you're looking for me, i'll either be at joanie's or out torching someone's hou... ummm, yeah, i'll be at joanie's. that's right, i'm not a criminal.

"liar" by the cranberries

i could totally spend way too much money at the itunes store. way too much money. how have i gone this long without having "it's raining men" by the weathergirls?

can you identify the faces from the cover of sgt. pepper's?

"oh, canada" by five iron frenzy

these are some pretty stinkin' cool cakes.

i love sharing stuff from my mental_floss e-mails. :) they're the best.

oooh, speaking of mental_floss stuff. check out this blog entry, talking about spreading people's ashes after they die. and then scroll down to a comment posted by Greg B. that's right, my buddy greg's famous. i mean, posting on mental_floss totally makes you famous. especially when it's about ashes.

"rest" by miranda stone

my niece loves jody's blog. she liked looking at the photos on everyone's site ... but i think she prefers jody's because the slide shows move. so there you go ... jody, you're alicia's favorite. and don't you forgeet it!

1. I’m with you on the itunes store. I’ve spent a small fortune there! 2. $600 for a weeklong trip to Paris?! Amazing! 3. I’m glad you smelled like fire this week =) I hope you smell like fire every week! 4. I can’t believe how well I did on identifying the Sgt. Pepper faces! Yay for me! 5. Had one more thing to say, but I forgot….. Darn.

yeah, i totally could spend hours upon hours on itunes. i still have a few bucks left to spend, but my dial-up makes for downloading painful times. but i adore searching for music and yes, you MUST have that song! and you mkust have I Know What Boys Like by the WAitresses.

oh, and when i die, my friends are getting a baggie of ashes. everyone is to spread my ashes in some place siginificant to us. for example, my husband will spread my ashes where we were married in northern CA. My mom will be instructed to spread my ashes in our horse pasture at her house, as i spent so much time with the horses there. but there will be plenty of ashes to go around. don't bury me, don't have a 'funeral'. just spread my ashes and remember the fun times.
