chocolate covered gummi bears
i can't stress to you enough how much i LOVE chocolate-covered gummi bears. april understands my obsession with them and brought me some last weeked. the six in the picture are all that are left. (well, actually there are only three left now. i've got a cherry one in my mouth as i type. mmmm.) they're how i'm choosing to spend my last 200 calories today.
now you can get chocolate-covered gummy bears at just about any self-respecting candy shoppe. but the BEST chocolate-covered gummi bears come from albanese, a local confectionery. unfortunately they don't let you buy the chocolate-covered gummi bear goodness online. however, they do offer a telephone number, so you could call (219) 738-2333 and they'd take your order over the phone. just let me know if you need my address - home or work - so you make sure to send them to the right place.
you'll notice i didn't post this on the workout party blog. that wouldn't be nice of me at all. :)
and at first i thought that funny blob was chocolate-covered gummi poo, but after tasting it, i think it was a peach head that had been severed from its body. yummy chocolate-covered severed peach gummi head.

no, but i totally could spend $200 on chocolate-covered gummi bears without feeling any guilt.
I don't know if I am craving chocolate or what but I so want some.
Those look so yummy!!! I go by that factory on the way to my in-laws, I'll have to stop for some next time!
you went to the albenese candy place and didn't stop by my house with them??? i live like 10 minutes from there...well i guess it's a little far....oh well...i drive past there all the time...i'll have to stop by
nope, i didn't go to albanese & not stop by to see you, fred. april did. she brought the gummi bears to my house over the weekend. so see, she's the one who didn't stop by - which is fair since she doesn't know you. :)
